Agent confirms 24years old might play for Chelsea 


The agent of Porto full back defender is confident his client might play for Chelsea this summer. 

The 24 years old defender who played for Galatasaray and who recently completed  transfer to Porto last summer is said to be on the radar of Chelsea Boss Antonio Conte. 

Reports said Chelsea might be looking to sign the Brazilian  full back if Alex Sandro doesn’t pull through. Sandro is said to be the Chelsea’s number one transfer target, as the head coach Antonio Conte is strengthen the club for the coming season. 

‘For now, we have nothing. Not from

Chelsea. Neither me nor the player received any

contact from any English club, but it can happen

because the market opens tomorrow,’ Fernando

Otto told Sports Witness .

‘When he went to Galatasaray, we had an

offer from Chelsea for Alex. But at the time,

we had already confirmed a pre-contract with

Galatasaray, and we could not go back.

‘But there was an information exchange, last

year too. And I believe that maybe one day he

will play for Chelsea.

‘I don’t know if it’s going to be this

season or the next. But I feel like one day he

can play for Chelsea.’

The 24-year-old Brazilian defender has £35million release clause in his current deal with Portuguese giants and he will not come cheap if Chelsea decides to sign him instead of Alex Sandro.

Last season Telles in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, has won 44 tackles with a success rate of 49%. He has made 59 clearances, 84 interceptions and two blocks.
